Also download their mobile app for your phone, unless you already have it installed.
Launch the Kayak app on your phone, and log in.
When you book travel online (flight/car/hotel), they will email you a confirmation detailing your reservation.
Forward that email in its entirety to [email protected]
Within 15 minutes, you should be able to view your trip details on your phone.
It displays your confirmation numbers for easy access when needed, which can come in very handy when checking in at the airport kiosks where a confirmation number is the easiest way to get your boarding pass.
They also keep you posted on scheduling changes and send checkin reminders.
If you want to keep family posted on your travel arrangements, forward your confirmation emails to them, and have them re-forward the emails to their [email protected] account.
They will receive email updates on the status and arrival times of your flight via email and from the mobile phone's app.
